Tibits is a Swiss chain of vegetarian restaurants that have been created by the Frei brothers and that has restaurant in many towns of Switzerland and also in London. Tibits has two restaurants in Bern, on at the train station and one in the Gurtengasse, a small street next to the Federal Palace.

Freshly prepared food is served on a buffet and you will pay according to the weight of the food that you put on your plate. On top of this, there is always some helpful young staff to help you, even if you struggle sometimes with German. In the summer, you can enjoy the little terrace on the sidewalk.
